Life reversed: Old to young..

Imagine being born as an eighty year old. You would be old, wrinkly, and would need a caretaker. It's kind of like being a baby, isn't it? Except instead, you are born OLD rather than born young. I mean, when you're a baby, you can't walk and you need someone to care for you. When you're old, the same thing would eventually happen to you again..so what difference would it make, it you were born old rather than young?
My answer, BIG difference! Being born old would mean that you would die young. why would you want to die as a baby?

If I was born old, my life would be completely different. If i was born old, i would not get to experience childhood, and learn as a kid. I would not be able to be creative and imagine. I would not develop and grow. Being born old, means that you have already experienced life, and then in retire mode. It then means memory loss. Life would be completely different.

If I lived life in reverse, it would also mean that I would lose a lot of people in my life, such as old friends, since they would die. I would fall in love with someone who grow old, while I on the other hand grow younger and younger everyday.

Education would be useless, since growing younger and younger would affect my ability to learn and store information. There would be no goals, no point in life.

Have you seen the movie, The case of Benjamin button? This movie is about a man who was born an old man, and as life went on, he grew younger and younger until he was a baby. His life was not satisfying. It was not the same.
I would not like to live life reversed. It changes the definition of life, and life just would not be the same..

A job I will never do..

One job I will never do is become a lawyer. Even if it was the last job in the planet, I would not become a lawyer. In my eyes, lawyers are the most deceiving people. They lie, and at times, help people although they know that the person is completely guilty of a crime. In my eyes, most lawyers are money hungry. All they care about is making money. They are blinded by money.  They should be caring about people's innocence, and help out people who are truly innocent, and not the guilty ones. However, this is not the case. Lawyers tend to help those that pay them the most money. They do this with apparently no guilt at all, and to me, this is wrong. I do understand however, that not all lawyers are like this. But, its seems to me that MOST lawyers are this way. It pisses me off to watch or hear about a case in which a lawyer is defending a person who is surely guilty, and everyone knows it. It sickens me. How could these people defend someone who is guilty of being the bad guy and at the same time take away another person innocence? I can't stand lawyers and our court system. This is why i would never become a lawyer. Not even if it paid me a million dollars, I would not take a job as a lawyer. Others might argue that I'm being bias, and that there are both good and bad people in each career. To me though, this profession has the most dishonest people who have no conscious. They have no sympathy for innocent people. They have no ethics. Lawyers are able to distinguish from right and wrong, but they ignore it and side with anyone who pays them a lot of money.

That being said, I will never become a lawyer. Not now, now later, not ever. NEVER.

What motivates me to read?

Thinking about it, I do not enjoy reading as much as I use to anymore. Why? Because, back then, when I was a kid, I was able to choose the type of books I want to read. Now, school chooses the books for me.

What motivates me to read? Well, The main reason why I read nowadays are because of school. I read because I have to. However, when I do have time, I read for enjoyment, which is another reason that motivates me to read. Reading a book is fun at times, especially when it is a book that you like. Books like this pull you into the story and let you imagine. I remember being extremely excited to read the twilight series. The series contains four huge chapter books. I was so motivated to read that I finished the books within a month, all four books! Yes, the books were so interesting that it motivated me to read. It also inspired me to continue reading other great books.

Another motivation as to why I read is to expand my vocabulary. I like to learn new words, and reading helps me do this the best because the words are part of a story.

Reading is fun, but sometimes its hard to be motivated to read, especially if it is because you HAVE to read. I like reading, but I don't like reading boring books. However, I motivate myself to read through many things such as above. When I have to read boring books, I try to imagine the story line, and make it interesting.

Reading is good for the soul...another reason why i read?

I heard that reading improves your memory!

Stress

What is stress?
According to the dictionary, Stress is pressure or tension exerted on an external object.
Why do we stress? We stress because we are overwhelmed by the amount of things we have to do. For me, I stress because of school, family, and my future. I think too much, and it results in stressing.

Ways to reduce stress are to manage your time, and do not, i repeat, DO NOT procrastinate. Procrastination is the number one cause of stress. When we have multiple things to do by a deadline, we increase our level of stress.

Why would we want to avoid stress? Well for me, I want to avoid stress because it is the worst feeling in the world because it makes me want to give up. When i stress, I get headaches, and become lazy. Stress also causes gray hair, and wrinkles. Why would you want that?

Everyone stresses, but it is best not to over stress yourself. Try not to stress over simple things... Reduce stress as much as possible.

Aging

Aging is a part of life. Everyone starts off as a baby, and progress through many stages of life and end up dying. Why do we age? Well, it has to do with nature. As humans, it is quite impossible to be the same age for the rest of our lives. Though there are some cases of people showing no symptoms of aging, but most likely not.

As we age, we start to change both physically and mentally. The harsh part, would be physically. Our skin starts to change, and some would go to measures such as anti wrinkle creams, botox, or any surgery to keep themselves looking young. Mentally, some people become more wise as they age.

We are born into the world as infants, become a child, become a teenager, an adult, and then a senior citizen. It is amazing how there are many stages to life. Writing about this, I just realized that I am at an "adult" stage. Oh how I yearn to be a child again...

My Ideal World...

Most people will say that their ideal world would consist of peace and happiness, no world hunger, no suffering, and a world where everyone gets along. To me, however, I am already living in an ideal world.

For the most part, I like the world that we're living in. There might be some ups and downs in life, but it is because of this, we are who we are.

It is because of the bad things in life, we come to appreciate everything that we have. For example, most people don't appreciate the people around them, until that person dies. Hunger happens, so people could appreciate what they have. If everyone were to get along, yes it would be a more peaceful world, but the world would be dull.

Aside from this, I do wish that everyone was treated equally, because to this day, discrimination still exist...

In essence, our world is far from perfect, but it is unique, which is why I say that  I am already living in an ideal world.

Good Things About Being Billingual

Being Bilingual can have it's good and bad. However, there is more good to it.
As we know, not everyone is bilingual. For those of us who are, be proud. As a bilingual person, we are able to communicate in two languages. This means more job opportunities! Employers nowadays are asking applicants to list their languages, and as a bilingual person, it could only benefit us. Speaking two languages is also good because we could switch back and forth with whichever language we want to speak. It is also beneficial if we choose to visit a country with the spoken language. Another good thing about speaking two languages is translating. Whenever I help translate for a non english speaker, I feel acomplished because I know two languages.

I am bilingual, and I'm proud of it.
